Officine Panerai moves hearts worldwide

If somebody would´ve uttered the opinion fifteen years ago, that Panerai would sell a whole lot more than 10 000 pieces of their "Luminor" a year in the future, that someone would´ve been declared an overly optimistic person. The watch, presented for the first time to the public in 1956, was mainly thought off as a timekeeper for military divers, and this fact cut down the target public of buyers to a very comprehensible ammount. Without Sylvester Stallone, who discovered the heavy weight in 1994 while working on the movie "Daylight" in Florence and had 212 pieces revamped, the end the traditional brand would have been most likely inevitable. But on this way, the "Slytech" was able to get the attention of Johann Rupert. He bought the whole brand, and CEO Angelo Bonati was able to fullfill it with fresh finery and achieve the respectable sales numbers.
